As you might have heard, a lot has been going on since I last emailed you inviting you to attend the opening event for the Assassination exhibits.
For the first time since my last encounter with the NYPD and the Secret Service, I have written about the experience in an article that was published today in The Huffington Post, entitled ‘The Art Offends.'
I encourage you to comment and share it with those you think might find it interesting.
Also, I have listed recent media coverage of the project below.
I will make sure to keep you informed as the project continues to unfold.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but this is what I think...In the right context this exhibit is showing all the ways black people are assassinated on a daily basis. Hillary's reflected on how women (powerful women) are assassinated daily. HOWEVER -- art is subjective and that is my take (which could be wrong). I think its powerful, and at this moment I don't subscribe to the ideas that are circulating via email that this is a racist exhibit. What's racist are the ideals that have a stronghold on many Americans.

Hey Yazmany!
I went to high school with you at Deerfield. I stumbled upon your art while looking for things to check out in NY. I'll be coming up for my friends wedding in October. I think it's the weekend of the 9th. I wanted to know if you had any shows or if you wanted to meet up. Hope all is well! Email me back if that's a yes and we'll schedule. It's great to see that your doing well. Talk to you soon. Steve Stephen Hedges
